Job Description:
The job consisted of renovations of the entire senior high school
facility as well the construction of a new addition.
The interior work consisted of all new finishes throughout the
building. This included renovation of new classrooms and hallways with
the installation of new carpets, flooring, doors, windows, casework,
ceilings, and finishes. Bathrooms were renovated for a more modern
look which consisted of new ceremic tile flooring, toilets, counter tops,
partitions, etc. Science rooms and Art rooms were fully renovated and
installed with new casework and equipment.
The cafeteria and kitchen were completely renovated as well as furnished with new kitchen equipment.
A new auditorium was reconstructed with all new finishes as well as new seating and installation of
stage equipment. In addition to a new auditorium, the existing gymnasium was re-finished as well.
New additions to the high school provided the Southmoreland School District with the academic space
needed for their growing community. The front entrance was added with the creative look by Eckles
Architecture. The other additions to the building included a new band room and a new weight room; both
complete with new finishes and installed with new equipment.
On the outside of the Southmoreland Senior High school, all new concrete sidewalks were added. In
addition, new asphalt parking lots were paved and new utility work was installed.
